Brown lab attended the 5th International Conference on Quantum Error Correction in London. Dripto Debroy presented a talk on quantum error correction and coherent errors (PRL 2018). Natalie Brown presented a talk on quantum error correction and leakage errors (PRA 2018, NJP 2019, PRA 2019). Muyuan Li presented two posters: small codes for 9 qubits and 2D compass codes (PRX 2019). He received 2nd place in the second poster session. Ken Brown served on the Steering Committee, chaired a session, judged the first poster session, and looked for the perfect coffee shop.
