Julie Campos defended her thesis on "Tailoring Quantum Error Correction to Quantum Computing Architectures". Her work examined how choices of stabilizer layout and Clifford deformations can be used to improve performance against bias noise. You can read one of her chapters here. Expect to see more chapters on the arXiv soon.
Congrats to Julie!!
Thanks to Robert Calderbank, Shailesh Chandrasekharan, Iman Marvian, and Natalie Klco for serving on the committee.
